Touch

I have a serious thing for men's hands. Nicely shaped fingers, big palms, skin a bit roughened with use, there's just something about strong, masculine hands that catches my eye and makes me drool inside. And some men know just how to touch a woman in non-sexual ways that makes her want to explore exactly those things. I don't know if they learn it somewhere or just inherent, but knowing one is a gift. Knowing one with beautiful hands is a treasure.

A man's hand in the small of my back? Melts me. Lightly guiding me through a crowd or doorway, helping me avoid an obstacle I don't quite see, a reassuring touch when I feel uncertain about what's going on around me. The tactile equivalent of Lloyd Dobler pointing out the glass. A small caress of the thumb and I might feel it up my spine. Tingly all the way.

Such a small gesture. Such a lasting impression. A woman doesn't forget a man who knows how to touch. And she doesn't overlook the small, first hints that he knows how.

100% completely agree with you on this one. It's the little things, like a small touch, that show you he cares. I love it.

Choosing the less obvious spots sets you apart. Amazing how many men don't realize this. Or don't care. Not sure which.

PS I'm a bit opinionated, I know.

A touch still works, or a look. But for me it's more about a touch on the back of my neck. Or a kiss.
And this is the first I learn of YOUR blog!!! And I totally agree. Nothing like a man's hand in the small of your back. It is such a simple and reassuring thing.

Jeremy: thank you for answering. And love hearing a guy likes his neck touched because I love touching a man's neck. Sometimes, sitting next to even a male friend, so hard not to reach over and stroke the back of their neck or back. I want to do this all the time! But not sure how would be received, too shy to try. My loss.

Sarah: I hope we are still in love even though we are obviously bad communicators. Miss that place like crazy...sooo homesick. Please go eat some sopapillas at Alamo Cafe for me. And FYI we are doing that next time I am down there!
