Wellies

If there is any snow/rain/slush in Central Park for Susan's wedding pictures, I'm going to be sad I didn't buy these cherry red wellies and carry my dress shoes until needed. Plus how great would they look with jeans or a cute spring dress and raincoat? Very practical girl I'm turning into; no toes in sight. They make them in all kinds of great colors, too.

UPDATE: I bought blue ones.  And FYI a size smaller than I normally wear, they run big.

Those are too cute!! I saw a girl today wearing some that were similar, I thought she looked cute in her yellow boots!

They had yellow and orange ones there, too, and I loved them. In fact, orange ones were my fave, but wouldn't match a single thing I own. And make me look like a hunter. But I keep thinking about the wellies, pretty sure I'm gonna go back and get a pair. Red is my favorite color, but the green are traditional, I think. But yellow tempting me now as well, so cheery on a rainy day.

Wow that is a whole lotta money for a pair of rubber boots!

But they are lovely... I have white ones with bright pink soles an piping, I looove them specially for our crappy weather here... so practical. On sale: $20 ;-)

$20 bucks? Argh, that is a much better price. Sadly, I'll still probably go for the wellies. Or I could spend $1000 to go back to Canada and pick up some $20 rain boots. I wish!

ROTF!! Hmm that is some headbanger math :-D

For sure your red ones are much better quality than the cheapie ones. So yah, go for it :-)

But at least I'd get to go back to Ottawa and Montreal.
